Imperfect Wensleydale #478

A very typical looking Wensleydale fleece with the exception that it is tender in many areas. The gorgeous curls would be great for felting and if skirted hard, may even be salvaged as a spinner’s fleece – even when broken in half, some of these 8″ locks still have plenty of length for spinning. The curly lock structure does hold a bit of dirt that will come out when processed. This is being sold as a whole four pound fleece.
