With all the color variations it should produce some very interesting, mottled colors if dyed; it also has some sheen though not as much as the breed typically exhibits. This is a rare breed and is listed on the National Livestock Conservancy’s Priority List. Each order of four ounces or more will include a passport sticker for the Shave ‘Em to Save ‘Em Initiative.

This fleece does have more vegetable mattere than we typically like, but that does come with the territory when working with these heritage breeds.

It is a lamb fleece with curly tan tips and a soft hand that will be acceptable for next to skin use for most people.
