Our rolag dowel kit includes six 18” long wooden dowels: 3/16”, 1/4″, 3/8”, 1/2″, 3/4″, and 1” diameter, as well as an 1/8” stainless steel starter rod.

To create rolags that draft smoothly, we recommend wrapping one fiber length around a dowel – different diameter dowels are ideal for different lengths of fiber. This kit has the right size dowel for most fibers from cotton to mohair.
