    $171.00 Add to cart

A creamy white CVM fleece with mostly non-distinct locks measuring three to four inches in length. Sold as a whole fleece weighing 1.45 pounds. • Fleece for Sale

    CVM #718161

    $298.00 Add to cart

This moorit (brown) CVM fleece is from a wether, or castrated male. We prefer wethers because they don’t go through the stress of the reproductive cycle at any point during the year, meaning all of their energy goes into growing a nice fleece. This fleece has 3.5″ staple length and the soft hand you would expect with a CVM. It does have a light touch of lanolin and you may see a light sheen on your hands when working this fleece, but it is not so much that it will harm your equipment or make it more difficult to process. This is being sold as a whole 2.6 pound fleece and will come with a Shave ‘Em to Save ‘Em passport sticker.

  • Fleece for Sale

    CVM #72168

    $273.00 Add to cart

A variegated white, gray, and light brown CVM with three to four inch locks. This fleece has a very soft hand, and feels even softer as some of the tips have a small amount of lanolin yet despite multiple washes. Sold as a whole fleece weighing 2.5 pounds,

    Huacaya Alpaca #A71827

    $110.00 Add to cart

Here we have a very pretty reddish-brown alpaca with just a little cream mixed in. Locks are 3 1/3-inch in length, very soft with lots of crimp and luster. Sold as a whole fleece weighing 1.7 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Huacaya Alpaca #A7185

    $71.00 Add to cart

Here we have a medium brown Alpaca fleece with 3-inch locks and defined crimp. Crimp is usually hard to see in washed alpaca. Most alpaca does not have any and often the crimp is lost in the wash cycle. We really like alpaca that holds its crimp through the wash. This is a very nice soft fleece. Sold as a whole fleece weighing 1.3 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Huacaya Alpaca #A7188

  • Fleece for Sale

    Imperfect CVM #418152

    $68.00 Read more

A dark gray and charcoal CVM with a very soft hand that is unfortunately tender throughout. This fleece is destined to make yarn with lots of texture or to be used in a felting project. Sold as a whole 2.2 pound fleece.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Imperfect CVM #418186

Original price was: $65.00.Current price is: $55.00. Add to cart

A 3.5 to 4″ long CVM with gorgeous variegated colors that is unfortunately tender. Sold as a whole 2.7 pound fleece.

  • GCF Imperfect

    Imperfect CVM #423243

    $35.00 Add to cart

A CVM in variegated grays with 3″ locks and a soft hand. We struggled to get all of the lanolin out of this fleece, and there is still some in the tips of the locks, which is why it is in our Imperfect category. We recommend opening each lock by hand; the fiber may still feel lightly greasy after processing. Sold as a highly skirted fleece weighing 1.1 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Imperfect CVM x Rambouillet #42075

    $52.00 Add to cart

Medium to light gray CVM x Rambouillet crossbreed fleece with 3″ locks. This fleece is tender in many spots and will cause neps and noils when carding. For spinning, this fleece will give you texture for a tweed preparation, but will need to be blended with another fiber to create a yarn with integrity. For felting, this would make a nice textured base if carded woolen. This is being sold as a 1.6 pound (24 ounce) fleece.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Imperfect Gulf Coast Native #421004

    $84.00 Add to cart

A Gulf Coast Native fleece from the same flock that we sourced the fiber for our 2021 4th Quarter SE2SE club installment. This fleece, however, has both a little more vegetable matter than the fiber we used in the club, as well as a break right in the middle of the lock. At just 3.5 inches in length, that leaves less than 2″ in both of the broken halves; this fleece is most likely suited best for felting due to the short length of the resulting fibers. Sold as a whole 3.75 pound fleece.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Imperfect Jacob #423101

    $50.00 Add to cart

A white and dark gray Jacob fleece with 3″ locks and a medium hand. We found a few tender spots in this fleece and decided to relegate the whole thing to our Imperfect category, though much of it is likely sound. Sold as a whole fleece weighing 1.5 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Imperfect Lincoln #422238

    $120.00 Add to cart

Here is a variegated Lincoln fleece, light gray to silver with locks from one and a half to about three inches in length, and lots of luster. Its atypically short and various length is what puts it in our Imperfect category. While this fleece could be spun, we would not recommend it for a beginner. It is an ideal fleece for a felter. Sold as a whole fleece weighing 3.7 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Imperfect Merino Crossbreed #419112

    $105.00 Add to cart

A 3.75″ long Merino crossbreed with short, tight crimp and incredibly soft hand. Deep black in color with some brown on the tips, we fell in love with this fleece without checking for soundness. Unfortunately, much of the fleece is tender which pushed it into our Imperfect collection. Sold as a complete 3 pound, 10 ounce fleece, this would be a great fleece for a felter or for a spinner looking to make fine wool nepps in an art batt as the tenderness of the fiber will cause it to tear while processing.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Jacob #723100

    $150.00 Add to cart

A mostly black Jacob with 3″ locks and a medium to soft hand. This fleece could be prepped and spun woolen or worsted. Sold as whole fleece weighing 1.4 pounds. This breed is on the Conservation Priority List of the National Livestock Conservancy.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Jacob #723131

    $193.00 Add to cart

A black and white Jacob fleece with 3.5″ locks and a medium hand. This is a true multipurpose fleece – it can be prepared and spun woolen or worsted, used for outerwear or next to skin for socks or mittens, and can be separated by color or blended together. Sold as a whole fleece weighing 1.8 pounds. Jacob is a rare breed and this fleece will come with a passport sticker for the Shave ‘Em to Save ‘Em Iniatitive from the National Livestock Conservancy.
