  • Fleece for Sale

    Wensleydale #723141

    $198.00 Read more

A deep black Wensleydale with brown tips. The locks are 5″ long and seem to have trapped quite a bit of dirt and some small chaff in them. This fleece’s soft hand will be even softer after processing and removing the dirt and VM. Sold as a highly skirted whole fleece at just 1.6 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    BFL x Wensleydale #723158

    $115.00 Read more

A unique crossbreed with energized locks measuring five to six inches in length. The locks look mostly like you would expect from a BFL, but with a little more open tip due to the Wensleydale influence. The lock structure does seem to trap in a bit more vegetable matter and dirt than usual, so there will be a little work with a Lock Pop or flicker to open this one up and get it clean. This fleece is black with brown on the tips. Sold as a highly skirted whole fleece weighing 0.8 pounds (13 ounces).

  • Fleece for Sale

    Border Leicester #723259

    $219.00 Read more

An unusually variegated Border Leicester fleece featuring shades of brown and gray. In this fleece, there are often fibers of both color in the same lock; while this is common in CVM and CVM crossbreeds, we rarely see it in other breeds. The lock structure is distinct with an easy to open tip, and measure around 5″ in length. Sold as a whole fleece weighing 3.3 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    CVM x Cotswold x Wensleydale #723166

    $164.00 Add to cart

A variegated crossbreed with both wavy and crimpy locks. It has a medium to soft hand and will be next to skin soft for most people. Colors run the gamut from dark to light gray and tan to light brown. This fleece is similar to the fleece we used in our Bliss club for the first quarter of 2024; it is from the same flock but does not contain Lincoln lineage and the crimp is not quite as consistent throughout the fleece. Nonetheless, it is a very nice fleece overall. Sold as a highly skirted whole fleece weighing 1.25 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Romney #2388

  • Fleece for Sale

    Merino Crossbreed #22313

    $20.00$121.00 Select options

A chocolate brown Merino Crossbreed measuring 3.5 to 4 inches in length. This fleece has a very soft hand a good sproing, or snapback in the locks. There is some light variegation in the color, with hints of light gray and blonde throughout, though it would be hard to define this fleece as anything other than chocolate brown. As we do not know this fleece’s progeny (other than Merino) and it looks and feels like a Merino, we have listed it as simply a Merino Crossbreed.

This is a rare color in a very rare breed, and each order of four ounces or more comes with a passport sticker for the Shave ‘Em to Save ‘Em Iniatitive.
