    BFL Lamb #23162

  • Fleece for Sale

    BFL Lamb #723165

    $252.00 Read more

A white BFL lamb fleece with a medium to soft hand in 6″ long locks. While about half the locks seem to be the typical thin, crimpy, BFL style, the other half are more open and less energized. This naughty lamb shook off its coat a few times during the growing season, and there are spots that have more VM than we typically see in a coated fleece. This will be a fun and interesting fleece to process. Sold as a whole 2.2 pound fleece.

  • Fleece for Sale

    BFL x Clun Forest #20028

    $58.00$109.00 Select options

We see a lot of this particular crossbreed, but this fleece is unique in that it looks mostly like a BFL fleece but with tips that are easy to open. The 6″ locks are mostly uniform in structure, and there is some yolk (yellowing) throughout the fleece.

  • Fleece for Sale

    BFL x Clun Forest x Texel #21137

    $32.00$105.00 Select options

A variation on one of our favorite crossbreeds, this fleece also has Texel lineage. The result is a creamy white, 4-5″ long lock with a medium hand and a bit of energy and sproing.

  • Fleece for Sale

    BFL x Clun Forest x Texel #720023

    $175.00 Add to cart

We are offering for the first time a BFL x Clun Forest x Texel. The 5” locks are somewhat coarser than the BFL x Clun Forest cross. They are bright white at the root to ivory at the tip. We think this one would be a good candidate for the dye pot most likely yielding a variegated color. Sold as a whole fleece of 2.4 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Border Leicester Lamb #20143

    $75.00 Select options

A black and brown Border Leicester lamb with uber-curly 5″ locks ending in super-cute lamb tips.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Border Leicester Lamb #21150

    $16.00$87.00 Select options

Is curlalicious a word? We feel like it should be, and you will too when you see the delicious curlicue tips of this Border Leicester lamb fleece. The locks are five to six inches in length and range from deep brown to chocolate to dark tan in color. As a lamb fleece, this has a softer than usual hand for the breed and is soft enough for next to skin for most people.

  • Fleece for Sale

    $184.00 Add to cart

A Border Leicester lamb fleece with thin 5″ long locks in dark brown with tan tips. Sold as a whole fleece weighing 2.4 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    CVM x Cotswold x BFL Lamb #20150

    $66.00$125.00 Select options

A white crossbreed with clearly defined, 4.5″ long locks that taper to a tell-tale lamb curlicue. This fleece exhibits a little bit of all three of its breeds, and the end product is essentially a crimpy BFL with a softer than normal hand.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Imperfect Wensleydale #42320

    $95.00 Add to cart

A Wensleydale lamb that has broken tips and is tender in spots. A deliciously soft hand with 5″ long locks, but may be better off in a felt project than for spinning. Sold as a whole 2.2 pound fleece.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Karakul Lamb #2204

    $16.00$29.00 Select options

A white Karakul lamb fleece with tan and red tips. A staple length around 5″ should make this a relatively easy fleece to spin and process and as a lamb, it does have a softer hand than we typically see in this breed.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Romney x Columbia #233

    $31.00$58.00 Select options

A chocolate and dark brown fleece that is a rather unique crossbreed. The result is 3-4″ long locks that have a soft to medium hand that open and process rather easily. This is a lamb fleece, so the tips are tender in places and will break off in the fiber prep stage.
