While this fleece retains the soft hand and energy of that breed, the Border Leicester imparts some length and easy to open tips. The result is a 5″ long fleece; it is black in color with hints of brown and gray and a french fry staple like you would expect with Corriedale, but with a softer hand than is typical for a pure Corriedale.

The fiber is 4-1/2 inches in length and a medium brown color. We love these fine wools crossed with Wensleydale. This is an excellent hand spinners fleece.

Surprise! It is soft with lots and lots of crimp. And a lock that looks like a mini BFL. There is a lot of stretch or, as we say, sproing. The fiber is 4-1/2 inches in length. We love these fine wools crossed with Wensleydale. This fiber should be very interesting to work with.
