**Please Note** These are custom made belts that we make to order. It may be several days – or several weeks, if we happen to be on the road – before an order for a custom drive belt ships.
Some drum carders are supplied with a manual that provides the length of the drive belt for that particular model. If you know the length, please select it from the drop down. If your belt length is not a whole number, please round up to the next whole number and make sure to let us know the exact length in the order notes. Eg: if your belt is 32.25” or 32-1/4” you would order a 33” belt and write 32.25” in the order notes.
If you do not know the length of the belt, wind a string around the pulleys to simulate the belt, then measure the string. Select that length from the drop down. If the length is not a whole number, please round up to the next whole number and make sure to let us know the exact length – and that you measured with string – in the order notes. Eg: if your belt is 32.25” or 32-1/4” you would order a 33” belt and write ‘32.25” string measurement’ in the order notes. Please note: Measuring with a string results in a properly sized belt about 95% of the time. Occasionally, we do have to send a belt back and forth to shorten or lengthen it to get the right size. If the old belt has not deteriorated, but simply stretched to the point where it no longer works, please note the length of that belt, too. If you know the make and model of the carder, please provide that as well. The more information we have, the better chance we have of making the belt the right size on the first try.

If you are looking for a belt for a motorized carder, please call or email us a photo of your carder before ordering. We use a different (reinforced) belting for use with motors and it is not compatible with all makes of drum carders. With this belting, the exact length is critical as it does not stretch. Reinforced belts are $2 per inch.
