Original price was: $109.00.Current price is: $85.00.

We see a lot of this particular crossbreed, but this fleece is unique in that it looks mostly like a BFL fleece but with tips that are easy to open. The 6″ locks are mostly uniform in structure, and there is some yolk (yellowing) throughout the fleece.

  • Bond Mill End Sliver - White

Bond Mill End Sliver – White

    $28.00
    Add to cart

Four ounces of white Bond carded sliver roving. This sliver is not as uniform in diameter as we would like, which is reflected in its price and why it is classified as mill ends. It still drafts and spins just fine.

  • Cormo x Border Leicester #22350

Original price was: $37.00.Current price is: $32.00.
Select options This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product page

A rarely-seen crossbreed whose lineage is nearly 90% Cormo. While this fleece retains the soft hand and energy of that breed, the Border Leicester imparts some length and easy to open tips. The locks are 3.5 to 4 inches long and are dark brown in color, with a hint of gray throughout and some sun blonde at the tips.

  • Corriedale x CVM x Lincoln x Cotswold #24103

    Corriedale x CVM x Lincoln x Cotswold #24103

    Price range: $17.00 through $97.00
Select options This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product page

A dark black crossbreed measuring 7″ in length! While this has a softer feel than you expect from a fleece this long, it has a medium hand and would be appropriate to use in a second layer, rather than next to skin. The locks have a hint of brown on the tips that will blend in to create a beautiful depth of color when processed. The should be a relatively easy fleece to process for its length, as the tips are easy to open and locks are mostly defined.

  • Corriedale x Lincoln x CVM x Cotswold #153

Original price was: $76.00.Current price is: $53.00.
Select options This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product page

An interesting 4-way cross, Dark Moorit (brown) in color with lighter tips. Inconsistent in length and crimp, with the length varying from 4 to 6 inches. Feels slightly coarser than Corriedale and would probably make a great pair of socks.

  • Corriedale x Merino x Cormo x Wensleydale #22310

Original price was: $52.00.Current price is: $31.00.
Select options This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product page

A creamy white four-way crossbreed with soft 4″ locks. This fleece is from the same sheep that we used for our 3rd quarter Bliss club, but is from a different year – one in which its fleece was a little shorter and a little muddier. Overall, still a nice fleece and a fun crossbreed.

  • Cotswold #2290

Select options This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product page

Original price was: $25.00.Current price is: $21.00.
Select options This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product page

A soft fine wool crossbreed with 4″ locks. The color is lightly variegated from tan to light brown; locks are relatively indistinct but easy to sort and process. While it is rare to find two relatively similar breeds crossed with each other, this barely-there fleece with energized locks is a good example of the two breeds working well together.

  • Jacob #18115

Original price was: $24.00.Current price is: $18.00.
Select options This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product page

You can separate the colors and work with them individually or card them together for a nice, mottled effect. Jacob is a Shave ‘Em to Save ‘Em breed. A passport sticker will be included with 4 ounces or more.

    Merino Crossbreed #19043

    Price range: $23.00 through $75.00
Select options This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product page

A highly energized, creamy white Merino crossbreed fleece. This one could be the picture next to the dictionary entry for “sproing.” Much of this fleece resembles a BFL although it is a Merino crossbreed with a smattering of Cormo, Lincoln, and Wensleydale in its lineage. It measures 5″ when stretched, but relaxes to around 3 inches in length, and has a next to skin soft hand. This fleece has a little bit of dirt in the tips but don’t let that scare you off; it will fall out in the fiber prep stage.

  • Merino Crossbreed #22313

Original price was: $20.00.Current price is: $15.00.
Select options This product has multiple variants. The options may be chosen on the product page

A chocolate brown Merino Crossbreed measuring 3.5 to 4 inches in length. This fleece has a very soft hand a good sproing, or snapback in the locks. There is some light variegation in the color, with hints of light gray and blonde throughout, though it would be hard to define this fleece as anything other than chocolate brown. As we do not know this fleece’s progeny (other than Merino) and it looks and feels like a Merino, we have listed it as simply a Merino Crossbreed.

A Romney crossbreed of unknown breeding. The 5″ locks and softer-than-Romney hand indicate some Corriedale influence. Black with brown tips, this coated fleece is highly skirted and extremely clean.
