In our early years in business we spent considerable time searching for the best lubricant for our wheels. We wanted an oil that remained on the surface and provided lubrication rather than one that soaked into the bearing leaving the surface dry. After trying a couple dozen types of oil we finally found one that worked very well, and though we continue to sample different products from time to time we have not found one that works as well as the one we chose many years ago. Our Spinning Wheel Oil is excellent for any type of bearing used on a spinning wheel.
