  • Fleece for Sale

    BFL Lamb #723165

    $252.00 Read more

A white BFL lamb fleece with a medium to soft hand in 6″ long locks. While about half the locks seem to be the typical thin, crimpy, BFL style, the other half are more open and less energized. This naughty lamb shook off its coat a few times during the growing season, and there are spots that have more VM than we typically see in a coated fleece. This will be a fun and interesting fleece to process. Sold as a whole 2.2 pound fleece.

  • Fleece for Sale

    BFL x Clun Forest x Texel #720023

    $175.00 Add to cart

We are offering for the first time a BFL x Clun Forest x Texel. The 5” locks are somewhat coarser than the BFL x Clun Forest cross. They are bright white at the root to ivory at the tip. We think this one would be a good candidate for the dye pot most likely yielding a variegated color. Sold as a whole fleece of 2.4 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    BFL x Coopworth #719192

    $164.00 Read more

An intriguing cross of two long wool breeds. The result is a 5″ long, creamy white fleece that mostly resembles a Coopworth, but with thinner locks and more energy than usual. Sold as a whole fleece weighing 3.0 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    BFL x Coopworth x Teeswater #722298

    $182.00 Read more

A rare long wool-only crossbreed of Coopworth, BFL, and Teeswater. Clearly defined, easy to process, 7″ long, curly locks abound in this gray and tan fleece. Sold as a whole fleece weighing 1.7 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    BFL x Teeswater x Wensleydale x CVM #720133

    $122.00 Read more

A white four-way cross that looks a bit like its three long wool breeds but has a softer hand than expected due to the influence of the CVM. The distinct, 6″ locks are more curly than wavy and should process easily with combs, a drum carder, or straight from the lock once opened with a flicker or Lock Pop. Coated and highly skirted, this is sold as a 1.2 pound whole fleece.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Cotswold #72299

    $245.00 Add to cart

A white and blonde Cotswold with clumps of curly locks. This is a rare breed and part of the Shave ‘Em to Save ‘Em program from the National Livestock Conservancy. Sold as a whole fleece weighing 3.9 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    CVM x Cotswold x Wensleydale #723166

    $164.00 Add to cart

A variegated crossbreed with both wavy and crimpy locks. It has a medium to soft hand and will be next to skin soft for most people. Colors run the gamut from dark to light gray and tan to light brown. This fleece is similar to the fleece we used in our Bliss club for the first quarter of 2024; it is from the same flock but does not contain Lincoln lineage and the crimp is not quite as consistent throughout the fleece. Nonetheless, it is a very nice fleece overall. Sold as a highly skirted whole fleece weighing 1.25 pounds.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Imperfect BFL #4117

    $48.00 Add to cart

Natural-colored BFL with 4″ staple length weighing in at a heavily-skirted 1.8 pounds. This fleece is tender, but the low vegetable matter content makes this an ideal candidate for adding texture and curls in a felting project, as the tenderness will not be apparent if the fleece is not processed.

  • GCF Imperfect

    Imperfect BFL #422116

    $85.00 Add to cart

A stunning 7″ long BFL that is in our Imperfect category because it is tender throughout most of the fleece. This one is a heartbreaker; a gorgeous, bright white fleece with curls for days but the locks break when you give them a good snap. It will add tons of depth and texture to a felt or art yarn project. Sold as a whole fleece weighing 2.7 pounds.
