$20.00 Read moreA Black Welsh Mountain fleece measuring 3 to 4 inches in length. As is common for this breed, this fleece is relatively coarse and destined for outwear or tapestry work. There is more vegetable matter than we typically allow in this fleece, but the breed is quite rare. It is on the National Livestock Conservancy’s Conservation Priority List, and each order of four ounces or more will include a passport sticker for their Shave ‘Em to Save ‘Em Initiative.

As a rare breed on the Conservation Priority List, this breed is hard to come by and as such it has a little more vegetable matter than we typically accept in Good Clean Fiber, but the fiber is nice once processed. $23.00 – $135.00 Select optionsA rare 5-way crossbreed in which a purebred Leicester Longwool was bred with a sheep that was equal parts Corriedale, Lincoln, Cotswold, and CVM. The result is a 5″ long staple with a hand that isn’t soft but also isn’t too coarse. This would be a good fleece for a sweater or socks.
