A charcoal Corriedale that comes from a flock bred for fineness. Staple length is around 4 inches, but this fleece is considerably softer than your average Corriedale.

This Corriedale comes from Australian breeding stock and has been breed for fineness, resulting in a softer hand and more crimp than we traditionally see in US-grown Corriedale. Three inches in length and soft, crimpy locks, with a variagation of gray hues throughout.

Here’s a crossbreed you don’t see every day! This is actually the first time we’ve seen one of these, and it’s quite interesting. It has shades of light and dark gray, mostly indistinct locks of about 5″ in length, and has a softer hand than you would expect for a cross of a medium and long wool.

This unique fleece comes from a producer that features a Merino x Lincoln x Cormo x Wensleydale crossbreed. This fleece is 50% Corriedale and 50% of that four-way cross. The result is a 5″ long fleece; it is black in color with hints of brown and gray and a french fry staple like you would expect with Corriedale, but with a softer hand than is typical for a pure Corriedale.

A fun four-breed cross measuring 4.5″ in length. The locks are both crimpy and wavy, as sometimes happens in a crossbreed. This fleece did pick up some variegation in its color from the CVM lineage and the tans and light grays are best described as oatmeal in color. Don’t you need more fiber in your diet?
