BFL x Clun Forest x Texel #720023
$175.00 Add to cartWe are offering for the first time a BFL x Clun Forest x Texel. The 5” locks are somewhat coarser than the BFL x Clun Forest cross. They are bright white at the root to ivory at the tip. We think this one would be a good candidate for the dye pot most likely yielding a variegated color. Sold as a whole fleece of 2.4 pounds.

Fleece for Sale
BFL x CVM #1998
$30.00Original price was: $30.00.$25.00Current price is: $25.00. Select optionsThis is a Blue Faced Leicester crossed with a California Variegated Mutant or BFL x CVM. It is a white fleece with quite a bit of yolk. It would be very interesting if overdyed. This fleece takes its crimp and non-descript lock structure from the CVM and has the hand of a BFL. We would describe it as soft to medium in fineness, excellent for socks. The locks are 4 to 5-inches in length.

Fleece for Sale
Border Leicester x CVM #22252
$18.00 – $104.00 Select optionsBright white and big crimp! This unique cross of Border Leicester and CVM looks like someone took a CVM and just made everything bigger: 5″ long locks, big french fry crimp, and slightly larger fiber diameter – resulting in a medium hand rather than the typically silky soft hand of CVM. Still, this is an all around fun and squishy fleece.

Fleece for Sale
Coopworth x Corriedale x Shetland #22292
$25.00 – $81.00 Select optionsA 4.5″ long, dark brown crossbreed. This fleece has a medium hand and locks that open up rather easily. The 1/2″ long blond tips tended to break off in the samples that we processed, so it is probably better to view this as a 4″ long fiber.

Fleece for Sale
Merino x Wensleydale x Cormo #149
$54.00 – $103.00 Select optionsThis white fleece is a cross between Merino, Cormo and Wensleydale. With half of the genetics coming from the Merino and a quarter each from the Cormo and Wensleydale we would expect a very soft hand from the fine wools and a more open crimp from the long wool. Surprise! It is soft with lots and lots of crimp. And a lock that looks like a mini BFL. There is a lot of stretch or, as we say, sproing. The fiber is 4-1/2 inches in length. We love these fine wools crossed with Wensleydale. This fiber should be very interesting to work with.
