  • Fleece for Sale

    Cormo x Lincoln x Merino x Wensleydale #21102

    $31.00$54.00 Select options

A charcoal gray four-way crossbreed of two short, fine wools and two long wools. This fleece exhibits a 6″ long staple legth with curly locks, but with a softness of hand not typically found in longer fleece.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Leicester Longwool #22241

    $36.00$63.00 Select options

This has everything you could want from a Leicester Longwool fleece: length, sheen, and big, easy to process locks. Snow white with 6-7″ long locks, this is a stunner and one of the better examples we have seen of this SE2SE breed. Each purchase of four or more ounces earns a passport sticker.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Leicester X #18189

    $22.00$128.00 Select options

We’re calling this fleece a “Leicester X” because it is a crossbreed that is predominantly a Leicester Longwool and that it what it resembles. Its curly white locks are 6+ inches in length and will process easily.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Leicester x Corriedale x Lincoln x Cotswold x CVM #27

    $23.00$135.00 Select options

A rare 5-way crossbreed in which a purebred Leicester Longwool was bred with a sheep that was equal parts Corriedale, Lincoln, Cotswold, and CVM. The result is a 5″ long staple with a hand that isn’t soft but also isn’t too coarse. This would be a good fleece for a sweater or socks.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Merino x Wensleydale x Cormo #149

    $54.00$103.00 Select options

This white fleece is a cross between Merino, Cormo and Wensleydale. With half of the genetics coming from the Merino and a quarter each from the Cormo and Wensleydale we would expect a very soft hand from the fine wools and a more open crimp from the long wool. Surprise! It is soft with lots and lots of crimp. And a lock that looks like a mini BFL. There is a lot of stretch or, as we say, sproing. The fiber is 4-1/2 inches in length. We love these fine wools crossed with Wensleydale. This fiber should be very interesting to work with.
