This fleece has a relatively low vegetable matter content compared to many other in the Shave ‘Em to Save ‘Em program but does have some sand that will shake out in the processing.

Merino x Wensleydale x Cormo #149
$54.00 – $103.00 Select optionsThis white fleece is a cross between Merino, Cormo and Wensleydale. With half of the genetics coming from the Merino and a quarter each from the Cormo and Wensleydale we would expect a very soft hand from the fine wools and a more open crimp from the long wool. Surprise! It is soft with lots and lots of crimp. And a lock that looks like a mini BFL. There is a lot of stretch or, as we say, sproing. The fiber is 4-1/2 inches in length. We love these fine wools crossed with Wensleydale. This fiber should be very interesting to work with.
