    This fleece is a cross between Merino, Cormo, and Wensleydale. With half of the genetics coming from the Merino and a quarter each from the Cormo and Wensleydale we would expect a very soft hand from the fine wools and a more open crimp from the long wool – and that is exactly what we have. The fiber is 4-1/2 inches in length and a medium brown color. We love these fine wools crossed with Wensleydale. This is an excellent hand spinners fleece.

    This is a Blue Faced Leicester crossed with a California Variegated Mutant or BFL x CVM. It is a white fleece with quite a bit of yolk. It would be very interesting if overdyed. This fleece takes its crimp and non-descript lock structure from the CVM and has the hand of a BFL. We would describe it as soft to medium in fineness, excellent for socks. The locks are 4 to 5-inches in length.
