While this fleece retains the soft hand and energy of that breed, the Border Leicester imparts some length and easy to open tips. This cross, however, is between two our our favorite medium wools. The result is a 3.5″ to 4″ lock with a medium hand and heavy sproing or snap back. The chocolate brown locks end in blonde tips that are easy to open and process.

CVM x Cotswold x BFL # 20123
$34.00 – $112.00 Select optionsThis cross of CVM, Cotswold and BFL produced a white fleece with 5 ½-inch locks. The locks have the structure of a BFL. The BFL and the Cotswold contributed length and some sheen. The CVM contributed the softness. This is a lamb fleece with a little tenderness in the tips. A pass through a lockpop or a flicker will remove the tender tips.

$175.00 Read moreWe are offering for the first time a BFL x Clun Forest x Texel. The 5” locks are somewhat coarser than the BFL x Clun Forest cross. They are bright white at the root to ivory at the tip. We think this one would be a good candidate for the dye pot most likely yielding a variegated color. Sold as a whole fleece of 2.4 pounds.
