    Romney X #22085

    $41.00$136.00 Select options

  • Fleece for Sale

    Imperfect BFL #4117

    $48.00 Add to cart

Natural-colored BFL with 4″ staple length weighing in at a heavily-skirted 1.8 pounds. This fleece is tender, but the low vegetable matter content makes this an ideal candidate for adding texture and curls in a felting project, as the tenderness will not be apparent if the fleece is not processed.

    $85.00 Add to cart

A silky soft Huacaya Alpaca with a 4″ staple length. This fleece does have some dander which will require a little bit of extra processing and therefore puts it in our Imperfect category. Sold as a whole 3.5 pound fleece.

  • Fleece for Sale

    BFL x Clun Forest #20028

    $58.00$109.00 Select options

We see a lot of this particular crossbreed, but this fleece is unique in that it looks mostly like a BFL fleece but with tips that are easy to open. The 6″ locks are mostly uniform in structure, and there is some yolk (yellowing) throughout the fleece.

This yearling mohair is a fun mix of black and white, with some locks having both colors. At 4.5″ in length, this half-year clip is ideal for anyone who wants a shorter mohair or wants to process mohair for the first time without the challenge of a full year’s growth.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Imperfect Gulf Coast Native #421004

    $84.00 Add to cart

A Gulf Coast Native fleece from the same flock that we sourced the fiber for our 2021 4th Quarter SE2SE club installment. This fleece, however, has both a little more vegetable matter than the fiber we used in the club, as well as a break right in the middle of the lock. At just 3.5 inches in length, that leaves less than 2″ in both of the broken halves; this fleece is most likely suited best for felting due to the short length of the resulting fibers. Sold as a whole 3.75 pound fleece.

  • Fleece for Sale

    CVM #718161

    $298.00 Add to cart

This moorit (brown) CVM fleece is from a wether, or castrated male. We prefer wethers because they don’t go through the stress of the reproductive cycle at any point during the year, meaning all of their energy goes into growing a nice fleece. This fleece has 3.5″ staple length and the soft hand you would expect with a CVM. It does have a light touch of lanolin and you may see a light sheen on your hands when working this fleece, but it is not so much that it will harm your equipment or make it more difficult to process. This is being sold as a whole 2.6 pound fleece and will come with a Shave ‘Em to Save ‘Em passport sticker.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Teeswater #2196

    $36.00 Select options

This is a Teeswater ewe fleece. The locks are four inches in length and off-white in color with a grayish cast. Teeswater is a Shave ‘Em 2 Save ‘Em Breed; each order of four ounces or more receives a passport sticker.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Imperfect Merino Crossbreed #419112

    $105.00 Add to cart

A 3.75″ long Merino crossbreed with short, tight crimp and incredibly soft hand. Deep black in color with some brown on the tips, we fell in love with this fleece without checking for soundness. Unfortunately, much of the fleece is tender which pushed it into our Imperfect collection. Sold as a complete 3 pound, 10 ounce fleece, this would be a great fleece for a felter or for a spinner looking to make fine wool nepps in an art batt as the tenderness of the fiber will cause it to tear while processing.

  • Fleece for Sale

    Romney x Corriedale #2082

    $23.00 Select options

This Romney x Corriedale is a crossbreed that we do not see too often. The locks are 4 inches in length and white with just a touch of yellow here and there. The hand is similar to a Corriedale. At 4 inches in length this fleece can be processed either woolen of worsted.

  • Fleece for Sale

    CVM x Cotswold x Wensleydale x Lincoln #20114

  • Fleece for Sale

    Merino x Cormo x Wensleydale #18141

    $32.00$103.00 Select options

This fleece is a cross between Merino, Cormo, and Wensleydale. With half of the genetics coming from the Merino and a quarter each from the Cormo and Wensleydale we would expect a very soft hand from the fine wools and a more open crimp from the long wool – and that is exactly what we have. The fiber is 4-1/2 inches in length and a medium brown color. We love these fine wools crossed with Wensleydale. This is an excellent hand spinners fleece.

  • Fleece for Sale

    BFL x CVM #1998

Original price was: $30.00.Current price is: $25.00. Select options

This is a Blue Faced Leicester crossed with a California Variegated Mutant or BFL x CVM. It is a white fleece with quite a bit of yolk. It would be very interesting if overdyed. This fleece takes its crimp and non-descript lock structure from the CVM and has the hand of a BFL. We would describe it as soft to medium in fineness, excellent for socks. The locks are 4 to 5-inches in length.

    $32.00$56.00 Select options

  • Fleece for Sale

    Romney #19106

    $43.00$82.00 Select options

A typical Romney fleece, silver gray with a tan tip. This color is perfect to use as is or would be excellent to over dye. At 4.5 inches in length it can be processed either woolen or worsted.

    BFL x Coopworth #19126

    $16.00$47.00 Select options

White BFL x Coopworth crossbreed fleece with staple length ranging from 4-5” and varying crimp style. This is a fun mix of breeds, but is priced to reflect the inconsistency in length and crimp.

  • Fleece for Sale

    $11.00$36.00 Select options

Multi-colored black and gray fleece with 4″ locks that are easy to open. As this intriguing mix of breeds has lineage coming from dairy sheep (Friesian), meat sheep (Suffolk), and a long wool (Lincoln), this fleece is on the coarse end of our offerings for Good Clean Fiber.
