A Blending Board is the ultimate woolen prep tool. Quickly process fleece, top, and other types of fiber into rolags that draft like butter. Wool, mohair, alpaca, cotton, feathers, dog hair, shredded silk fabric, cut yarn, odds and ends from other projects – your imagination is the only limiting factor.
Each comes with a board, keel, and brush made with matching wood and is hand shaped, routed, and sanded before receiving a durable lacquer finish. They also come with a 1/2″ dowel and stainless steel starter rod for removing rolags. The removable three position keel allows for use on the edge of a table or in your lap and makes the board highly portable and convenient to store when not in use. The keel is secured by a comfort grip knob and can be tightened to your liking to allow the board to swivel or not. Our proprietary 72 teeth per inch blending board cloth is designed to be easy on your hands and is capable of carding and blending a wide variety of fibers.
