While it is rare to find two relatively similar breeds crossed with each other, this deliciously soft fleece with bouncy locks is a good example of the two breeds working well together.

As the name implies, this is a long wool fleece, but this producer shears twice annually, resulting in the relatively shorter length which is more manageable for both the producer and the fiber artist. This fleece has a bit of sheen and a medium to coarse hand. Leicester Longwool is a Shave ‘Em to Save ‘Em breed, and each order of four or more ounces will include a SE2SE passport sticker.
