This is an Austrailian-style Corriedale, meaning it is shorter, finer, and has more energy than typical Corriedales grown in the US. This fleece has a medium hand that probably is not soft enough for next to skin use for most people. It is charcoal gray to black with sunkissed brown and blonde tips. Locks are around 4″ in length and process easily. We did find some sporadic tender spots on the butt/cut end of this fleece, but not throughout. With little experience with this breed, we are not sure if that is a breed characteristic or unique to this fleece. Overall, this looks to be a fun new breed to work with!
