This fleece is the only example of this crossbreed that we have come across, and it is one we hope to see more often! It is a deep charcoal color with brown tips, and features distinct 4″ locks with french fry crimp. It has a medium hand and will process easily. Sold as a highly skirted whole fleece weighing 2.2 pounds.

A lovely Gotland fleece with soft, curly locks measuring five to six inches in length. This fleece sports a variety of light gray and silver hues, and has a medium to soft hand that may be acceptable for next to skin use for those who are not overly sensitive. There is some occasional matting at the cut end of this fleece; that combined with the corkscrew nature of the locks may make it more difficult than average to process but this fleece is definitely worth the little bit of extra effort!

Don’t let the word Suffolk scare you away from this fleece! Despite being a crossbreed of a dual-purpose breed and two long wools, this fleece has a medium to soft hand. White to light gray with loose, mostly french fry style but occassionally wavy 5″ long locks. A wonderful example of the effects of cross breeding.
