This is a charcoal gray Wensleydale fleece with good sheen and 6 to 8-inch locks. Wensleydale is one of Henry’s favorite breeds and he is especially fond of the gray ones. This fleece has a soft hand for a long wool breed.

A 5″ Wensleydale with thin, luxuriously soft locks. This is as black as it gets for this breed; the brown tips will add an interesting depth of color when processed. This fleece does have a band of dirt about half way up the locks, but that will pop out during the fleece prep stage with either a flicker, a Lock Pop, or combs.

A Florida Cracker fleece in whites, tans, and yellows that will blend into a creamy white once processed. Like most fleece of this breed, the color, handle, and length vary throughout the fleece. For the most part, this fleece has a medium hand and measures three to four inches in length. The vegetable matter content is relatively low considering what we typically see from this rare breed, though there is some dirt in the tips that will come out easily during processing.
