A Wensleydale with lovely moorit coloring: a medium brown with blonde tips and an occasionally hint of gray. The lustery locks measure four to five inches in length and have a medium to soft hand. This fleece does have a bit of dirt/dust in it, but that will fall out during the fiber prep stage.

This is a charcoal gray Wensleydale fleece with good sheen and 6 to 8-inch locks. Wensleydale is one of Henry’s favorite breeds and he is especially fond of the gray ones. This fleece has a soft hand for a long wool breed.

Thick, luscious, six inch long locks are what you will find in this bright white fleece from the sheep appropriately named “Lil’ Curly.” This fleece exhibits the easy to open tips, sheen and relatively soft hand of a Wensleydale, but with some added energy from the influence of the BFL.

Our first ever offering of the Zwartables breed! This fleece has a medium hand that probably is not soft enough for next to skin use for most people. It is charcoal gray to black with sunkissed brown and blonde tips. Locks are around 4″ in length and process easily. We did find some sporadic tender spots on the butt/cut end of this fleece, but not throughout. With little experience with this breed, we are not sure if that is a breed characteristic or unique to this fleece. Overall, this looks to be a fun new breed to work with!
